On July 10th, AKB48 member Oshima Yuko wished her fellow idol Maeda Atsuko a happy 21st birthday on her official blog, saying that it was destiny that brought the two together.

“Acchan, happy birthday,” she began, before making a confession to the hardworking girl who diligently improved herself as the ‘face’ to the mega popular idol group. “Meeting Acchan was something that happened spontaneously, but necessarily, so I think that it must’ve been destiny that we met.”

She continued, “We’re comrades in clearly having the same dream. I hope we can walk together by encouraging each other, competing with each other, and praising each other.”
